Tony Blair at Iraq inquiry – the key points

• Tony Bliar has told the UK's Iraq inquiry that Saddam Hussein was a "monster" put into power by the CIA.

He said that Saddam was able to leave Iraq at the start of the war. (aangirfan: Saddam worked for the CIA / aangirfan: Saddam and Belarus)

He added that 9 11, carried out by elements of the security services, was designed in part to make it easier to invade countries like Iraq. (aangirfan: 9 11 Revealed - The Daily Mail /aangirfan: 9 11 : The Conspiray Files. )

• Bliar suggested that Israel had weapons of mass destruction and was in breach of UN resolutions.

Regime change for Israel was not US policy because Israel could blackmail the USA.

Bliar said he was a friend of Israel.

Sarah Margaret (née Lipsett), gave birth to Tony Blair's mother, Hazel.

The Lipsett family originated with a German Jewish immigrant to Ireland. (Tony Blair - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

• Bliar said that Operation Rockingham (Operation Rockingham:) was a UK government operation to spread the lie that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction.

• Bliar accepted that the September 2002 dossier should have made clear that the now-notorious claim that Iraq had WMD that could be launched in 45 minutes referred to battlefield weapons and not long-range missiles.

The above, of course, is not what Tony Blair said.
