However, not all family members follow the advice fugitive whose head valued U.S. $ 50 million. Some members of the Bin Laden clan actually embrace the western way of life.

Not only that nyeleneh Omar, Osama's nephew, Wafah Dufour went even further. Graduated from Columbia University School of Law is determined to pose nearly naked on the cover of GQ men's magazine in 2005. Her body was covered only ostrich feathers. See the photos here.
Like Omar, he dreamed of a Hollywood star, singer or movie star. "Although relatives, I had nothing to do with him (Osama). But, because he, the Western world hates me, on the contrary, because I chose to apply Western values, the people of Saudi Arabia hates me," said Wafah Dufour.
Wafah is also a singer. In fact he ever gig in London and collaborated with the 'Black Lips', a rock group from Atlanta. Who Wafah Dufour, Anyway?

More deaths on Syria's 'day of defiance'

Up to 30 reportedly killed in the cities of Homs and Hama, as protesters around the country take to the streets.

Activists claim that up to 30 people have been killed in Syria where thousands have taken to the streets for another day of anti-government rallies, dubbed a "day of defiance". Human rights group Insan said that at least 16 people had been killed in the central city of Homs, six in Hama and two in Jableh. It said the total death toll was 26 but didn't specify where the other two deaths occurred.

A human rights activist told the Associated Press news agency that 30 people had died, while Syrian state television said an army officer and four police were killed in Homs by a "criminal gang".

Security forces killed four protesters in the city of Deir al-Zor, a local tribal leader told Reuters.

Al Jazeera could not independently verify the reports because of restrictions on reporting in the country.

Activist Najati Tayara said security forces opened fire to disperse protests that broke out after noon prayers in Homs.

"We were chanting 'The people and the army are one' and 'The people want to topple the regime'," a witness told Al Jazeera over the phone. "Then security and thugs opened fire."

The sound of continuous gunfire was audible over the phone, as well as people shouting "There are snipers on the rooftops".

There were also reports that live ammunition had been fired in the Damascus suburb of Tel, wounding several protesters.

Reem Haddad, a spokeswoman for the Syrian information ministry, denied in a phone interview with Al Jazeera that she had any knowledge that Syrian protesters had been killed on Friday.

She said a planned visit by a UN delegation aimed at investigating the situation in Syria would be a positive thing for the government.

"The Syrian government is not worried, because there is nothing wrong," Haddad said.

UN secretary-general Ban Ki-moon said on Friday that Syria had agreed to allow UN teams to enter the country and check the humanitarian situation there.

Ra-NIL is behind Moon’s conversion to Darusman by Anti Democratic Regime - Another Proof that Ranil is Working for the Anti Democratic Regime !

It is reported that the opposition leader Ra-NIL Wickremesinghe who had been behind the Anti Democratic Regimes sudden change of stance to describe the Moon’s advisory panel report as ‘Darusman report’ and not as ‘Moon’s report’.

It is learnt that it is Ra-NIL Wickremesinghe who has proffered advice to Basil Rajapakse that as the advisory panel report is not the official report of the UN , the media referring to the report as ‘Moon’s report’ is detrimental to the Regime. Ra-NIL had therefore told that the report should be called as ‘Darusman report’ as Darusman is the Chairman of the advisory panel. The Regime has hence decided accordingly.

Also the Anti Democratic Regime had allocated a huge some of money to repair and provide some luxurious facillities for the oppostion leader's office in Colombo.

According to another source, Sri Lankan Leader Mahinda had informed his Regime Heavyweights (bootlickers) to avoid attacking Ra-NIL openly as now he works for us to save his leadership.

Ra-NIL said to be a person who never ever won't to gain power to servr the nation and prefer to be in oppostion( may be until death). Also their is a rumour that he had being funded heavily since 1997 to destroy UNP by several Venezuela businessmen's and leftist political giant.

Mobitel, the first in South Asia to successfully demonstrate LTE, achieving a data rate of 96 Mbps

Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel, the National Mobile Telecom Service Provider, announced today that it has carried out a successful trial of LTE (Long Term Evolution) Technology achieving speeds of up to 96 Mbps. Having launched the first Super-3.5G HSPA network in South Asia in December 2007, and subsequently carr

ied out trial of HSPA+, MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) with downlink speeds of up to 28 Mbps in 2009, another first in the region, Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel has broken the speed barrier even further to demonstrate broadband speeds of up to 96Mbps in downlink and 49Mbps in uplink using LTE technology, and setting another record in the region for the third consecutive time.

Mr. Nimal Welgama, Chairman Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel said, "Technology advances are among the key drivers that push outwards a country's Production Possibility Frontier catalyzing economic growth. As such, the National Mobile Telecom Service Provider, Mobitel has committed to embrace and offer the latest and the most advanced technologies that are needed for Sri Lanka's rapid development. We strongly believe that embracing latest ICT technologies like LTE will lay the most conducive infrastructure for other sectors to grow and blossom at a fast pace leading Sri Lanka towards a fully developed nation."

The prime factor behind the super-fast speeds demonstrated in LTE technology when compared to existing and most advanced 3G technologies is that the spectral efficiency is 4 to 5 times greater in LTE than in the most advanced 3G technologies. The use of OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) carrier modulation in LTE allows easy upward scalability for higher bandwidth requirements, coupled with MIMO technology, which effectively uses multiple antennae in both the Terminal Device (Data dongle, Tablet PC/Smart Phone etc.) and radio network to transmit and receive multiple streams of information within the same spectrum. The demonstration was carried out in the 2.6GHz frequency range, and initiatives are under way to explore operations at other spectrum bands for commercial deployment.

Witnessing this trial at Mobitel's Flagship Care Centre Mr. Anusha Palpita, The Director General of Telecommunications said "TRCSL is committed to assist all the telecommunication operators in Sri Lanka to develop world class telecommunication network facilities in the country. The spectrum allocation for the commercial operation of LTE will soon be finalized where the operators will be able to launch nationwide enhanced ICT infrastructure to benefit all businesses and consumers in Sri Lanka through this latest evolution in mobile broadband technology."

This LTE trial not only demonstrated the superiority of LTE technology but it also strengthened Mobitel's confidence and ability in the timely commercial deployment of a LTE ready network. As such, Mobitel hopes to leverage on this trial to set up a commercial network that will build on the immense potential this technology offers for a wide variety of end-user offerings.ZTE corporation of China was selected by Mobitel as its technology partner to deploy this state-of-the-art LTE ready Next-Generation-Network.
In particular, a factor which distinguishes LTE from other technologies is the improved quality of experience, due to reduction in latency. This enhances the user experience of time-critical applications such as Voice, Video and on-line gaming while extending potential benefits to businesses as well as Finance sector, by significantly reducing time taken on data transport for time critical transactions such as on-line trading and other financial transactions.

"As the National Mobile Telecom Services Provider we are committed to take every initiative towards developing our nation through the use of ICT" said Mr. Suren J. Amarasekera, CEO Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel. "The growing power of ICT services and terminal devices as well as emerging trends such as cloud computing and machine-to-machine communications, require network infrastructure capable of ultra high data link speeds and bandwidth. We strongly believe that LTE will enhance the capabilities towards fulfilling these ever increasing ICT needs of citizens of Sri Lanka and thereby lead our country towards an infocom and knowledge rich society."

The successful demonstration of LTE technology which saw a downlink speed exceeding 96 Mbps is part of the company's latest network expansion project. The LTE network demonstration was conducted in the presence of Director General of the Telecommunication Regulatory Commission Mr. Anusha Palpita.

Gayle plays another Thundering Knock against King XI !

Royal Challengers Bangalore 205 for 6 (Gayle 107) beat Kings XI Punjab 120 for 9 (Aravind 4-14, Gayle 3-21) by 85 runs

Once every two years Bangalore hosts Aero India, the country's biggest air show, on the outskirts of the city. On Friday night, Chris Gayle took it upon himself to deliver a similar spectacle to the home crowd, which went ballistic while watching a flogging of a lifetime inflicted on Kings XI Punjab. As the deflated attack desperately sought mercy, Gayle celebrated his domination with a triumphant smile, propelling his team to a thumping fourth straight win with an unforgettable century that made a backyard out of the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Adam Gilchrist, cheery as ever, decided to field on a pitch that promised assistance to his four-pronged pace attack. While he met Gayle's onslaught with a look of awe and admiration, his bowlers were what they looked - stunned into submission. The early movement and a spate of hits and misses in the first couple of overs were the few signs of encouragement in an otherwise dispiriting innings.

Gayle targeted the straight boundary, rarely attempted any cross-bat heaves or slogs, and relied on brute strength, partly a consequence of what is known to be a fitness regime that's ever the aspiration of the healthier than normal. Ryan Harris was the first recipient of Gayle's treatment, as he clobbered two consecutive sixes over long-off and long-on in the fourth over.
