TOYOTA SABOTAGED BY THE USA?

Wayne Madsen, at Online Journal, on 12 February 2020, reports that Obama is waging economic warfare on several fronts, including Japan

According to Wayne Madsen's sources (WMR):

1. Obama is using sabotage against Toyota.

2. Obama is angry that Japan wants US troops out of Okinawa in Japan.

3. US Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, who is linked to US company Caterpillar, has stated that all Toyoya owners should stop driving their vehicles.

4. LaHood has threatened Toyota with unspecified civil penalties.

5. LaHood is carrying out an operation to help General Motors and Ford.

6. The chief architects of the anti-Toyota campaign are Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and White House Chief of Staff Emanuel.

7. The media has worked with the Obama administration by hyping the safety issues with Toyota's vehicles.



8. The issue of sticky accelerator pedals arose in 2009 after a Lexus ES350 crashed.

There is a controversy over whether the crash was caused by the pedals or the floor mat.

Toyota does not make the pedal for its recalled vehicles.

A US company, called CTS, makes the pedals for Toyota, as well as for Ford and GM.

9. China's Jiangling Motors has complained about sticking pedals from CTS.

CTS has developed a reputation for faulty accelerator pedals.

The Obama government has not criticized CTS, which has supplied the same accelerator pedals it manufactures for Toyota and GM to the U.S. military.

10. The 'mat' problem occurs when a cheap substitute carpet is installed by a garage or a dealer.

11. Toyota is Japanese. The main shareholder in Isuzu is GM. Ford owns Mazda.

12. The CTS pedal used in Toyotas relies on an electronic pressure sensor.

These sensors can be affected by military 'transmissions' or signals from military equipment.

13. In 1995, Clinton authorized the spy agency NSA to spy on companies like Toyota.

George H W Bush used NSA to eavesdrop on negotiations between Japan’s NEC and Indonesia.

14. The Obama administration is also waging economic war on the 'PIGS' - Portugal, Italy, Greece, and Spain.
