ROYALTY, ROTHSCHILDS AND GOLDSMITHS

Annabel Goldsmith, Zac Goldsmith, Jemima Khan (nee Goldsmith). Zac and Jemima have a brother Ben who is married to Kate Rothschild.

"Jacob Rothschild's hospitality to Camilla is legendary.

"He gives her and her sister the run of his estate in Corfu and the yacht has always been at her disposal."

But, reportedly, Jacob Rothschild is now taking the side of Lady Annabel Goldsmith, who was not invited to William's wedding.

On 1 May 2011, we learn more about the reported split between Camilla, wife of Prince Charles, and Lady Annabel Goldsmith, who was a friend of Princess Diana.

(ROYAL WEDDING: 'Those are not heir-bearing hips are they?'.)

Camilla's family has links to Lady Annabel Goldsmith's family.

Camilla's brother, Mark Shand, is married to Clio Goldsmith, daughter of the late Teddy Goldsmith, Lady Annabel’s brother-in-law.

A source close to the Goldsmiths is quoted in the Mail on Sunday as saying: "There is no better networker or hostess than Annabel but if you cross her, there is no turning back."

Jacob Rothschild is reported to have sided with Annabel.

Jacob Rothschild's niece Kate is married to Lady Annabel's son, Ben.

According to the source: "Jacob Rothschild’s hospitality to Camilla is legendary. He gives her and her sister the run of his estate in Corfu and the yacht has always been at her disposal.

"Annabel is a dangerous enemy to have."

Carole Middleton, nee Carole Goldsmith, mother of Kate Middleton.

Jemima Khan is the daughter of Lady Annabel.

In 2010, Jemima Khan tweeted:

Kate Middleton – those are not heir-bearing hips are they? Unfeasibly narrow.

According to the Mail on Sunday's source: "Charles and Camilla didn’t approve.

"Camilla especially is very fond and protective of Kate.

"They don’t think much of Jemima Khan’s public backing of Julian Assange either."

Jemima Khan tweeted during William's wedding: "No offence to Camilla, but I'd have preferred - out of respect - that no one had substituted for the mother of the groom at the register signing."

The Rothschilds and British Royalty

"In 1809, we find the Royal Dukes, brothers of George IV, doing what common people would then generally refrain from doing.

"We find the Jew Abraham Goldsmid, the same who helped to finance the French Revolution acting as host to the Duke of Cambridge, whilst the latter, with the Duke of Cumberland, used to visit Nathan Rothschild in his Piccadilly home.

"The Prince Regent arranged payments of borrowed money to the Elector of Hesse-Cassel through Nathan’s hands."

The Biggest Secret - Chapter 18

"Goldsmith, formerly Goldschmidt, ... served the Brotherhood by launching the Referendum Party in Britain to hijack the anti-European Union opposition and lead it to failure.

"It also split the Conservative vote in key constituencies which helped the Brotherhood choice, Tony Blair, to become Prime Minister.

"Part of this strategy involved the former Conservative Party Treasurer... Lord McAlpine, making a very public transfer to Goldsmith’s party and he later became its leader.

What do the following have in common?

1. Tony Blair (prime minister at the time of the death of Princess Diana),

2. Lady Annabel Goldsmith (wife of Sir James Goldsmith, who was allegedly the father of Princess Diana)

3. Jemima Khan (née Goldsmith, allegedly the sister of Princess Diana),

4. Rosa Monckton ('friend' of Diana, married to Dominic Lawson, allegedly an MI6 spy - MI6 Rosa Monckton and the Oxbridge spooks... /Diana, and the baby buried in her garden Mail Online)

None of them were invited to the Royal Wedding.

Carole's brother Gary Goldsmith was filmed giving hard drugs to an undercover reporter. (Middleton uncle drugs & vice.)

What do we know about Diana and the Goldsmiths?

Frances Shand Kydd and Diana (www.dailymail.co.uk/.)

Lady Diana's mother was Frances Shand Kydd, who was born Frances Ruth Roche.

Reportedly, Frances had Jewish origins. (Davidic Ancestry of Prince William.)

Lady Diana's father may have been Jewish.

William, may have Jewish origins.

On 7 September 2007, the Independent (Ireland) produced an article entitled: A Murky Question, by Declan Lynch

(The Mail also covered the story. Were Diana and Jemima sisters? Mail Online)

Acording to Declan Lynch:

Princess Diana's father was Sir James Goldsmith.

Sir James was the son of Frank Goldsmith, the descendant of a Jewish banking family from Frankfurt.

(Obituary: Sir James Goldsmith - People, News - The Independent)

According to Declan Lynch:

The "Goldsmith" version "had been circulating in aristocratic circles for a long time."

Officially, Diana was the daughter of the Earl Spencer and Frances Shand Kydd.

Sources have long maintained that Goldsmith was conducting an affair with Frances around the time that Diana was conceived.

Nobody denies that the affair took place, "at a time when Frances was deeply unhappy in her marriage to the Earl, who was 'drinking heavily' and 'being beastly towards her'".

Tina Brown, author of The Diana Chronicle, suggests it was a long-running affair.

In Brown's version, there is strong support for the idea of Goldsmith being the father of Lady Diana, though she can't prove it.

Zak Goldsmith, son of Sir James Goldsmith.

MARRAKECH BOMB - INSIDE JOB?

People of Marrrakech

A website has accused friends of Morroco's King Mohammed VI of being behind the bombing in Marrakech.

The website Hibapress accuses Mounir Majidi, the king's secretary, and WFP (Authenticity and Modernity Party) boss Fouad Ali El Himma of being behind the attack in Marrakesh.

And, according to political exile Abdelillah Issou, the Moroccan regime wants to create 'a state of siege.'

The bomb gives the rich elite an excuse to clamp down on opponents of the regime?

(Marrakech : Les théories de la conspiration commencent Demain - [ Translate this page ])

There are conflicting reports about what happened in the bombing in Morocco.

The bomb in Marrakesh that killed 16 people "was set off by a remote-control device", according to Morrocan Interior minister Taeb Cherkaoui.

"The explosion was set off from a distance," Mr Cherkaoui told parliament in Rabat. (Al Qaeda suspected in Marrakesh bombing )

The news portal Lakome.com had said that the bomb was a suicide attack.

They also said that the bomber had been freed from prison two months ago after having been sentenced to eight years in jail for rape.

Syria          Syrian troops have killed six people as they opened fire inside the restive southern town of Deraa. According to the witnesses, the Syrian troops and snipers targeted people in the town of Deraa early morning on Saturday. They (witnesses) said that the troops had sieged the city for a week and allowed no one to enter or leave. “The city has gone short of food, water and medicine due to the siege. The snipers holding position on the tall buildings are targeting the citizens who get into the streets.” Witnesses said that some troops refused to open fire on the protestors. 33 people were killed in Deraa on Friday. 582 people have been killed during protests against the President Bahsar Al Asad since 15 March, 2011.
Saudi Arab     Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah has imposed new media restrictions in the country. The king threatened hefty fines and closure of news organisations allegedly undermining national security, press reports said on Saturday. Under a decree, the media will be prohibited from reporting anything that contradicts the strict Islamic sharia law or serves "foreign interests and undermines national security." The decree requires publishers to stick "to objective and constructive criticism that serves the general interest," media reports said, adding that violators face fines of up to 500,000 riyals ($133,000). In addition to a threat to close publishers who violate the decree, the authorities can also ban a writer for life from contributing to any media organisation.
Yemen       At least six people including two soldiers were killed during anti-government protests in Yemen. According to the state officials, the protesters opened fire on the soldiers when they stopped them from removing the barricades in Al-Mansoura. Meanwhile the soldiers rushed to the firing scene and targeted the protesters. According to the sources, at least 6 people including 2 soldiers were killed and 23 were injured during anti-government protests. On the other hand, a debate has heated in capital city Sana’a whether President Saleh would sign on the accord of acquitting power or he would move it to the ruling party for verification.
Thai and Cambodian forces clashed again, marking the ninth straight day of fighting.

Thai and Cambodian    forces have clashed again, marking the ninth straight day of fighting between the two neighbors. No casualties were reported on Saturday, but the border skirmishes have killed at least 16 people and displaced nearly 100,000 on both sides since they began on April 22. Cambodian Col Suos Sothea says calm has returned to the border after the dawn clash. A Thai soldier gave a similar account, saying the fighting lasted about half an hour. Thailand and Cambodia have clashed six times since 2008 over the border, where several crumbling ancient Hindu temples sit atop cliffs and in jungles mined in wars past. The land has been disputed for more than half a century, but analysts say domestic politics on both sides is driving the conflict.
United States     The storm affected residents have started removing debris of the buildings in Alabama State. At least 228 people were killed and 1,700 were injured in Alabama after a massive storm ripped through the area battering homes and cars and knocking out power lines. Don Bryan s business was completely destroyed by the tornado but he said in spite of the damage he is grateful to be alive. "It looks like a cluster bomb went off. We are just fortunate to be alive. God has truly blessed us. When you look around the area and see what everyone else has been through we are very fortunate," Bryan said. President Barack Obama promised federal aid on Friday to the tornado-ravaged U.S. South, where deadly twisters have killed at least 328 people and caused billions of dollars worth of damage.

Royal wedding: London crowds share in couple's happy day

Prince William and Kate Middleton, now the Duchess of Cambridge, have been married at Westminster Abbey in London. Around a million spectators watched the royal procession on the streets of London on 29 April.

Some had camped out for days for the best viewing spots.

Kate Middleton and Prince William

Kate Middleton and Prince William exchange wedding vows at Westminter Abbey. Some 1,900 guests watched the couple exchange their vows, with many millions watching at home. Thousands of people are lining the procession route the couple will take from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace after the service. Despite the risk of showers, the pair will travel in an open-topped 1902 State Landau carriage for the procession, which was used by Prince William parents for their wedding in 1981. The day has started off dry and cloudy in London but the Met Office says there is a risk of heavy showers developing later on. Temperatures in the capital are expected to reach a high of 19C (66F) in the afternoon. The prince is wearing the red tunic of an Irish Guards colonel - his most senior honorary appointment - but the bride s dress design is being kept secret. Prince William married Kate Middleton in regal splendor at London’s Westminster Abbey Friday as huge crowds and a global TV audience watched Britain’s biggest royal celebration for three decades. Kate, wearing a stunning ivory and white satin wedding dress with long lace sleeves, a veil and a flowing train, stood composed at the altar with the second in line to the throne who wore a smart scarlet military tunic. “I will,” the future king and queen each pronounced solemnly in turn, before William put a ring fashioned from a nugget of Welsh gold on her finger and then Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams pronounced them man and wife. It is the richest display of pageantry since William’s late mother Diana married Prince Charles in 1981 and offers Britain’s royal family a chance at renewal after Charles and Diana’s bitterly public split. The absence of Diana, who died in a car crash in Paris in 1997, was keenly felt, and music played at the wedding 30 years ago and at her funeral in the same abbey were played during Friday’s service. Two billion people – a third of the world’s population – are expected to watch Diana’s eldest son wed the commoner he began dating at St Andrews university in Scotland eight years ago. As a sea of hundreds of thousands of people waved Union Jacks in London, Kate waved to the crowd as she arrived at the abbey with her father Michael in a Rolls-Royce limousine. She took four minutes to walk down the aisle, which was lined with trees specially brought in to create the feel of an English garden. William Arthur Philip Louis – as Diana’s eldest son and the second in line to the throne was called during the service – arrived at the church 45 minutes earlier accompanied by his younger brother and best man Prince Harry. Kate however did not promise to obey her husband in her marriage vows – following in the footsteps of Diana, who married Charles on July 29, 1981 at St Paul’s Cathedral. Charles and Diana divorced 15 years later. Palace officials confirmed her dress was by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen, the iconic British designer who committed suicide last year. Guests inside included footballer David Beckham, singer Elton John and “Mr Bean” actor Rowan Atkinson. Fifty members of the royal family and dozens of foreign royals were due after William. Queen Elizabeth II granted the couple the titles Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as a wedding gift earlier in the day. Hundreds of thousands of campers transformed The Mall, the wide boulevard leading to Buckingham Palace, into a sea of Union Jack flags. “They will make the monarchy fashionable again. It’s good for the country,”said Louise Akehurst, 25, an administrator from London. William, a 28-year-old Royal Air Force search and rescue helicopter pilot, has long been seen as the great hope of the royal family for the future after a string of failed marriages and scandals. Sandra Russell, 65, who is of French-British nationality, said she thought the marriage would be successful because Kate is “much older than Diana was at the time, much more mature and they are marrying for love.” “Carles was under the pressure of his family.” People here are still angry at him, and Camilla (his second wife) too. I hope William will be the next king.” After the service, the newlyweds will travel in a horse-drawn open carriage from the abbey to Buckingham Palace where the couple will follow tradition by appearing on the balcony with the rest of the royal family and kissing. More than 8,500 journalists and technical staff are covering the wedding for a global audience. And the world will join in the party. New York’s iconic Empire State Building will be illuminated in blue, white and red in honor of the royal couple.

What not to miss at the Royal wedding - the 7 key moments

The royal wedding morning will be long. From the moment the first guests arrive at 8:15 a.m. London-time to when the couple appear on the balcony at 1:30 p.m. will be about five hours.

Perhaps only the most hardened royalists will sit and wallow in every moment. For those who need to do the laundry, walk the dog or -- heaven forbid -- do some work, here is a guide to the truly, absolutely, completely important moments. These are the times NOT to go to the bathroom or make a cup of tea.

Follow this guide and you will always be able to say, "Of course I saw the moment when ..."

1. The Dress: 11 a.m. in London (6 a.m. ET)

We will see the dress through the windows of the Rolls Royce as Kate is driven to the church. But our first PROPER look at the dress will be at 11 a.m. London (6 a.m. Eastern) when she gets out of the car at the Abbey. This is the time to ooh and ahh on the design. Whether it is akin to the puffed up style of Diana's or, as some suggest, sleek and satiny like Princess Margaret's, this is THE moment. Don't miss it!!!

2. The Vows: 11:15 in London (6:15 a.m. ET)

It may be cruel, but many will be watching to see if there are any mistakes! Diana got Charles's name wrong (and seemed to marry his father instead). Charles for his part forgot to endow Diana with his worldly goods. Never mind. She got a lot of them anyway in the divorce! Meanwhile, Sarah Ferguson repeated Prince Andrew's middle name twice.
Will tradition strike again or can William and Kate get each other's name right? Don't be feeding the cat at that moment.

3. The FIRST kiss: Any time after 11:15 a.m. in London (6:15 a.m. onwards ET)
It should be after the Archbishop of Canterbury pronounces them man and wife. But Charles forgot to kiss Diana -- we had to wait until the balcony for that moment. Let's see if William and Kate remember.

4. The Fanfare: About 11:30 a.m. in London (6:30 a.m. ET)

Keep an ear out after the register is signed for a trumpet fanfare composed especially for this occasion. It will be performed by the Royal Air Force Trumpeters and is called "Valiant and Brave," the motto of Prince William's RAF squadron. Thirty seconds of ear-blasting trumpets that could well wake some of the 300 dead and buried in the Abbey.

5. Placing the bouquet: After 11:45 a.m. in London (6:45 a.m. ET)

It is fully expected that Catherine will follow royal tradition and lay her wedding bouquet on the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior in Westminster Abbey's nave. This tradition was started by Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother in 1923 and has been followed by all royal brides at the Abbey ever since. It will be a poignant moment. Royal London wedding map: Parade route, palaces and panoramic views

6. The Carriages: 12:15 p.m. in London (7:15 a.m. ET)

Which coach will take the happy couple back to Buckingham Palace? If it is dry then they will use the 1902 State Landau BUT if it is "severely wet weather" then they will use the 1881 Glass Coach. Since rain showers are forecast, we won't know until the morning just how much rain has to fall to be "severely wet" and force a carriage challenge.

7. THE kiss: 1:25 p.m. in London (8:25 a.m. ET)

Even if you have slept through the ceremony and missed the procession, you still have time to catch THE moment. Catherine and William and their families will be on the balcony of Buckingham Palace at 1:25 p.m. in London (8:25 a.m. ET). A kiss is expected -- in fact it will be demanded by the million or so people expected on the streets outside.
Charles and Diana started the tradition. Sarah and Andrew followed it. Now it's William and Catherine's turn. Will it be a peck on the cheek or a smackeroo on the lips? Miss this and you have missed the lot.

Royal Weddings like this come around every, oh !, three decades. Don't miss out!

INTERNET SEX STUDY

On 28 April 2011, we read that scientists have been studying one billion online sex-related searches from around the world.

A new book called "A Billion Wicked Thoughts", by Ogi Ogas and Sai Gaddam, provides the details.

Ogi Ogas was a biodefense researcher at MIT and a Department of Homeland Security fellow.

Internet sex study reveals what people really want / Huge Internet Sex Study Reveals What People Really Want

The top searches are:

'Straight' women 'enjoy' reading about and watching romances between two men.

'Straight' men enjoy a wide variety of erotic images, including both elderly women and transsexuals.

Gay men and straight men have the same favourite body parts, which in order are chests, buttocks then feet.

Men fantasise about group sex more than women, and picture more men than women in the action.

Straight men have a fascination with other men’s penises.

“The research, as far as I can tell, is pretty damn sound,” says Dr. Stephen Snyder, a sex therapist in private practice in Manhattan for over 20 years. “They worked very hard to acquire a large data set, and they found some very, very interesting stuff.”

Psychologist Donald Symons says 'Ogi is convinced that when people are searching for things, it’s primarily for sexual arousal. I’m not so sure about that. If there was a porn star with three breasts - I bet there would be a zillion hits. Would that be a sign men were suddenly aroused by that? I think not.'

Sri Lankan Leader closely monitoring General Fonseka's statement

Sri Lankan Leader Mahinda is paying special attention to see if the statement due to be made by former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka in connection with the White Flag case on May 4 would confirm allegations leveled against the country by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon's panel of experts, a senior government minister said.

He said the Leader Mahinda has assigned several opposition politicians to find out the Fonseka's and his wife Anoma Fonseka's sentiments.

Leader Mahinda has also launched a campaign to get the mahanayake theros to request General Fonseka not to make any statements in the White Flag
case that could be damaging to him, the security forces and the country.

The minister said the President was aware of the request made by several opposition politicianss to release Fonseka from prison to justify the holding of massive protestss in the country against Ban Ki-moon's panel report. However, Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa has objected to releasing War Hero Fonseka.

Beware of the ongoing phone scam asians ! - Protect your Laptop/Desktop PC...

The National Centre for Cyber Security, Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Response Team (SLCERT) urged the public to be on the alert of a phone scam which has been spreading throughout several Asian countries.

SLCERT Senior Information Security Engineer Rohana Palliyaguru told Daily Mirror Online that the scammers, in the guise of agents representing well-known brand names or a third party contracted by such companies have called up consumers and made them believe that their computers are prone to certain vulnerabilities.

“The consumers had been told that they are investigating vulnerabilities - an infection or a virus and have directed the users into a website which allows the scammers to have remote control over the PC or the laptop,” he explained. Thereafter the consumers are had been convinced into making a payment which the racketeers had said would enable them to fix the computer.

“A large number of people who fell for this scam have lost a lot of money. Therefore we urge the public to be vigilant of similar fraudulent schemes and inform SLCERT if they come across such incidents,” Mr. Palliyaguru added.

Fighting continues in Libya's Misurata - Latest Update on Libya Uprise

Freedom Figters say humanitarian deliveries affected in besieged city as battles rage for control of port rage on

Pro-democracy fighters are battling Muammar Gaddafi's, alias butcher of Libya's, forces on the country's western border while fighting continues in the besieged opposition held city of Misurata.

A spokesman for freedom figters told on Wednesday that heavy shelling had prevented ships from docking in Misurata to deliver humanitarian supplies and evacuate the wounded.

"The attacks have prevented a number of ships seeking to enter the port to evacuate the wounded from Misurata," Ahmed Hassan, the spokesman said.

"Other ships are also waiting to unload shipments from humanitarian agencies."

The freedom fighters said the Libyan army had withdrawn from central Misurata but that fierce fighting was still ongoing for control of the city's port.

"Gaddafi's forces retreated from the port area where they were positioned yesterday after air strikes by the NATO forces," an opposition spokesman, called Reda told the Reuters news agency.

The strikes completely destroyed 37 military vehicles. Gaddafi's forces this morning started bombarding an area about 10km north of the city. It is known as the Steel area.

"The bombardment is still going on. They are using Grad missiles ... Warplanes are flying over Misurata's outskirts but I don't hear any sound of strikes."

UN fails to agree on Syria protests crackdown - Security Council members remain divided on US-backed statement condemning violence against protesters

The UN Security Council has failed to agree on a statement condemning Syria's deadly crackdown on peaceful protesters. Envoys attending a special open meeting on Syria in New York on Wednesday said Russia, China and Lebanon opposed the wording of a draft resolution distributed by European nations. France called for "strong measures" if Bashar al-Assad, the Syrian president, rejects appeals to end violence which has killed hundreds. The US said Assad must "change course now and heed the calls of his own people" for change.

Russia, after blocking a Security Council statement condemning the violence, however insisted that the Syrian crackdown did not amount to a threat to international peace and security, grounds that would justify international action.

"A real threat to regional security could come from outside interference," Alexander Pankin, the Russian deputy UN ambassador, told the council.

"Such approaches lead to a never ending circle of violence" and could set off civil war.

Bashar Ja'afari, the Syrian ambassador to the UN, welcomed the Security Council's inaction, saying his government was carrying out an investigation into the violence and that there was no need for a UN commission.

Al Jazeera's Kristin Saloomey reporting from the UN said any hope for Security Council action is dead for the moment.

"The council was not able to agree on even the most basic form of the statement calling for calm and calling for an investigation."

Our UN correspondent said Russia offered the strongest opposition to the move saying they were concerned about violence in Syria, but on both sides.

"In the end there were isolated statements of concern from various countries, but no unified action by the council."

Chennai Super Kings wins against Pune Warriors in the form of Badrinath !

(Match Summary; Pune Warriors 141 for 6 (Yuvraj 62*, Uthappa 31, Ryder 19, Bollinger 3-21) Chennai Super Kings 145 for 2 (Badrinath 63*, Raina 34*, Vijay 31, Karthik 1-27, Ryder 1-21 ) ) . Who said there is no room for a purist in the IPL? S Badrinath (Photo on right) walked into a tricky situation, took ownership of the chase of 142 without playing a single ugly shot, and finessed Chennai Super Kings to No. 2 in the IPL table. His effort came after Chennai's seamers made exemplary use of the extra bounce on the DY Patil strip to restrict Pune Warriors to an under-par score, despite a well-paced 62 from Yuvraj Singh.

Badrinath's virtuoso effort made the total seem woefully inadequate though Chennai dawdled listlessly until he came in. Badrinath isn't your typical IPL hero. His upright stance, clean feet movement, classical backlift and high-elbow follow-through are all made for Test cricket. Yet, he has managed to find a niche for himself in Chennai's muscular top order. Today he unfurled an IPL innings of rare beauty: there were no cross-batted slogs, no cheeky lap-scoops to deliveries landed outside off, and not once was he caught napping on the front foot to a short ball.

Chennai are not fond of chasing, and today it was evident why. M Vijay and Michael Hussey began too cautiously and the result was 14 dot-balls in the first four overs. Hussey then heaved Murali Kartik to midwicket where Manish Pandey took a tumbling catch. Badrinath earned a promotion ahead of the out-of-form Suresh Raina, and the swap helped both batsmen.

Chennai had crawled to 39 for 1 in eight overs when Badrinath decided to counter-punch. He trotted out to Kartik and launched him for four through long-off. Kartik tossed the next ball further up, and Badrinath carved him inside-out for a six. Badrinath came out again later in the over, hoodwinking Kartik into dropping short, and then glided him to third man. The over went for 16, and in next over, Badrinath opened up the off side again, lofting Yuvraj for six more. Seventy-seven required off 60, and Chennai did not look back from there.

Rahul Sharma thought he had got Badrinath to edge the first ball of the 11th behind, but the umpire gave it not out and replays were inconclusive. Vijay managed to swipe Jesse Ryder over midwicket but his scratchy innings ended in typical fashion when he holed out against a slow legcutter. Badrinath carried on as if nothing had happened, angling near-yorkers to third man and drilling half-volleys to the straight boundary. Suresh Raina ended the contest in the 18th over, muscling Jerome Taylor for sixes over long-off.

In reality, Pune lost the match in the first half itself. Ryder fell top-edging an effort ball from Doug Bollinger that rose quickly from short of a length. Mohnish Mishra perished to the pull as well, not bothering to adjust to the length after plonking his front foot forward. Nuwan Kulasekara then dismissed Mithun Manhas with a trademark inducker that squeezed between bat and pad to disturb the leg bail. Manish Pandey departed to a replay of Mishra's brain-fade, cross-batting Tim Southee off the front foot straight to mid-on, as Pune stumbled to 41 for 4.

Yuvraj survived a loose flail at a Kulasekara offcutter first ball. He thumped the next delivery, one of the few over-pitched by Kulasekara, through cover. Thereafter he settled in carefully, and set himself for a late assault. Meanwhile, Robin Uthappa tried to dominate spin, and managed to cart R Ashwin for sixes before falling to his carom ball for the second time in three days. Yuvraj opened up after Uthappa's fall, lifting Ashwin with the angle over midwicket before launching Doug Bollinger straight for the shot of the afternoon. He slammed Tim Southee for two sixes in the last over as Pune finished their innings with a flourish. Their last five overs yielded 50, but it was not good enough. What Pune missed was a batsman with the technical excellence and mental fortitude of Badrinath to support Yuvraj.
