Protesters give 72-hours to Gaddafi to quit

Anti-government protesters have given 72-hour to Libyan leader Muammar Muammar Gaddafi to step down. According to National Libyan Council, “If Gaddafi leaves Libya immediately, during 72 hours, and stops the bombardment, we as Libyans will step back from pursuing him for crimes, adding that the deadline will not be extended beyond 72 hours.” On the other hand, Libyan warplanes launched at least four air strikes on a town. As Gaddafi vowed to fight on and had told his supporters he would never leave Libya and end his 41-year-old rule.
