Central Bank Governor, Nivard Cabral has threatened the directors of the Nation Lanka Finance Company to hand the company to a businessman known as Asanga Seneviratne.
The Central Bank Governor had summoned the two directors of the company, Ranaweera and Gamage, to his office and had warned them that the company would have to face unwanted issues if they did not agree to the transaction.
Asanga Seneviratne was earlier trying to purchase the Nation Lanka Finance Company for cheap and that such a move would have an adverse impact on the investors in the company.
