Bomb blast kills two in Bara

A roadside bomb targeting security forces has exploded, killing two people and wounding ten, which included five security personnel in the volatile northwest. Government official Hafeez Khan says the blast occurred Thursday as soldiers inspected vehicles in Bara town not far from North West Frontier Province's main city Peshawar. The area has witnessed a spate of recent attacks. Twenty-two people were killed and more than 150 wounded last Saturday in two suicide car bombings in the region.
