In mid-July, the independent Pentecostal church in Gainesville announced it would host "International Burn A Quran Day," A church in Florida has planned the event to sympathise with 9/11 victims. People are invited to come to the Dove World Outreach Center between 6 and 9 pm to set a copy of Islam's Holy Book on fire. Members of the church believe that "Islam is of the devil," according to Pastor Terry Jones. Terry Jones, has written a book called “Islam Is Of The Devil” — plans to host “International Burn A Quran Day,” The National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) is calling on the Dove World Outreach Center to cancel their Quran-burning event.
