In 2010, the killing continues in Iraq.

On 3 May 2010, in the Guardian, John Kampfner reminds the people of the UK that "We remember Iraq in this election."‎

"In 2005 around one million voters deserted Labour as a result of Iraq...

"It is the issue that defined the Blair premiership, the issue that reinforced the intense public animosity towards the mainstream political process."

In the UK, the three biggest political parties support the war in Afghanistan, which is why they do not have our support.

The Scottish National Party is one of the parties that has opposed the wars in Yugoslavia, Iraq and Afghanistan.

The deaths continue in the USA.

"An average of 18 US military veterans are taking their lives every day as the Obama administration and the Pentagon grow increasingly defensive about the epidemic of suicides driven by Washington’s wars of aggression.

"The stunning figure was reported last week by the Army Times, citing officials in the US Veterans Affairs Department.

"The department estimates that there are 950 suicide attempts every month by veterans who are receiving treatment from the department."
