MOUSSA KOUSSA IS CIA-MI6?

Moussa Koussa, who may have been working for the CIA and MI6 since the 1970s.

In 1978, Moussa Koussa attended Michigan State University in the USA. He earned a degree in sociology and presumably made contact with the CIA.

In 1979 he was in the UK and presumably made contact with MI6.

His activities seem to favour the CIA and its friends.

In line with CIA policy, he helped normalise relations between Libya and the USA and its allies.

In line with CIA policy, Koussa helped secure the release of al-Megrahi, thus preventing Megrahi's appeal from being heard, and thus preventing the CIA's faking of evidence from being revealed. (Gareth Peirce on the Framing of al-Megrahi)

In line with CIA policy, Koussa has criticised China's activities in Africa.

Laurent Gbagbo home Attacked and State TV Station Taken Over by Forces loyal to Alassane Ouattara, the int. recog. president of Ivory Coast

Forces loyal to Alassane Ouattara, the internationally recognized president of Ivory Coast, attacked the residence of disputed incumbent Laurent Gbagbo and took control of state-run TV early Friday morning, a spokesman for Ouattara told CNN.

Gbagbo's residence is near the state-run television station taken over by Ouattara forces in the early morning hours Friday, said Patrick Achi, the Ouattara spokesman. Gbagbo apparently was not there.

The takeover occured less than three hours after a Gbagbo spokesman appeared on the same network declaring that Gbagbo had no intention of leaving the presidential palace, according to a witness who saw the broadcast. The presidential palace is not Gbagbo's personal residence and is located elsewhere.

Gbagbo has refused to cede power after a disputed November election.
The takeover of the government network, which had previously been accused of inciting violence against protesters opposed to the Gbagbo government, came as Ivory Coast's internal war appeared to enter a decisive and final phase, with forces loyal to Ouattara making a final push to oust a defiant Gbagbo.

Ouattara on Thursday declared a curfew in Abidjan as forces loyal to him moved closer to taking control of the city. The curfew, Ouattara said, will remain in effect until Sunday. Also Thursday, Ouattara's interior minister announced on radio that the air and sea borders of the country would be sealed until further notice.

The curfew, however, did not seem to be universally recognized as Abidjan residents reported hearing sounds of heavy gunfire Thursday night.

"It seemed there was a battle going on," said Diallo Ibrahim, adding that the "heavy gunfire" appeared to subside by midnight Thursday.

Ibrahim, an accountant, said he watched the Gbagbo spokesman appear on TV and declared that Gbagbo would not leave the presidential palace. After the announcement, however, the station went dark, Ibrahim said.

Ouattara's spokesman, Patrick Achi, told CNN earlier Thursday that rebel forces were patrolling some streets of Abidjan and were fast closing in on Gbagbo.
It will be only "hours, maybe days" before Gbagbo falls, Achi said. "The army does not want to fight for Laurent Gbagbo."

Residents in Abidjan told CNN that people were frightened at the prospect of an all-out war and were huddled in their homes Thursday. At sunset, they could still hear the sound of gunfire outside. Smoke could be seen in some parts of the city.
"We can tell the fighting has gone to another level," said one resident who did not want to be named because of security reasons. "We are watching to see what will happen next."

Humanitarian agencies warned Abidjan is on the brink of catastrophe.
"The international community must take immediate steps to protect the civilian population," said Salvatore Sagues, Amnesty International's researcher on West Africa.

Choi Young-jin, head of the United Nations' mission in Ivory Coast, said on France Info radio that U.N. peacekeepers have taken the place of army and police who abandoned Gbagbo on Thursday.

Choi said that the siege laid on the Abidjan hotel where Ouattara was confined has been lifted.

Ouattara was recognized as the winner of a November presidential election but had been holed up in the U.N.-protected Golf Hotel since then as the political stalemate led to escalating violence and turmoil.

Meanwhile, Gbagbo's army chief, Gen. Philippe Mangou, asked for asylum at the residence of the South African ambassador, the South African government said Thursday. Achi said it was a sign that the armed forces now stand fully behind Ouattara.

Republican Forces wrested control of much of the capital, Yamoussoukro, and other key cocoa-producing and port cities earlier in the week before marching to Abidjan, the commercial center of Ivory Coast.

Ouattara issued a statement saying that despite numerous attempts to end the violence, Gbagbo had refused. He said Ivory Coast is now at a turning point in its history and called for unity.

"In order to end the escalating violence in our country, the Republican Forces of Ivory Coast have started to put in place, in accordance with their missions, the protection of people and their property against the militia men and mercenaries paid by Laurent Gbagbo," Ouattara said.

"They have decided to restore democracy and to respect the vote of the people," he said. "In every city where they went, they were greeted in jubilation."
Human rights agencies have documented the deaths of 462 people -- some in heinous fashion -- and the displacement of more than 1 million from their homes.
Many residents in Abidjan fear Gbagbo will not go down easily.

Koffi Kouakou, a citizen of Ivory Coast who now lives in South Africa, said his family members were stocking up on food and waiting for the battle they feel is inevitable.

"Everybody is calling it the battle of Abidjan," said Kouakou. "There will be a battle and people will be killed, unfortunately. Nobody knows when it is going to happen but it will happen soon."

Concerned about the rising tide of violence, the U.N. Security Council voted unanimously Wednesday to impose sanctions on Gbagbo, his wife and three associates, as well as give U.N. peacekeepers more authority to protect civilians.

The U.N. resolution demands that Gbagbo step down immediately and that all state institutions, including the military, accept Ouattara as president. It also authorizes U.N. peacekeepers "to use all necessary means to carry out its mandate to protect civilians under imminent threat of violence."

The resolution imposes targeted sanctions and travel bans on Gbagbo, his wife, Simone, and three others: Desire Tagro, Pascal Affi N'Guessan and Alcide Djedje.
The resolution accuses all five of "obstruction to the peace and reconciliation process" and of rejecting the legitimate election of Ouattara. All but Laurent Gbagbo are accused of "public incitement to hatred and violence."

KOUSSA, HESS, LOCKERBIE, ROBERT HALFON

Gaddafi's foreign minister Moussa Koussa - blamed by the CIA for the Lockerbie bombing - is being questioned in a 'secure location' in the UK, following 'pressure from MI6'.

Our old friend Robert Halfon (Rob's Blog), a UK Conservative MP who has tabled parliamentary motions on Lockerbie, said Koussa's arrival in the UK was comparable to that of Hitler's lieutenant, Rudolf Hess, during the Second World War.

(Libyan foreign minister Musa Koussa in UK.)

Robert Halfon's family is Jewish-Italian and Robert's grandfather lived in Libya. (Rob's Blog: My father thinks he shook hands with Gadaffi)

Robert is Political Director of Conservative Friends of Israel.

We assume Rob has done his research on Hess and on Lockerbie

The Duke of Edinburgh's brother-in-law, Prince Christoph of Hesse, was a member of the SS.

So many of the Duke of Edinburgh's relatives had Nazi links that when he married Elizabeth 'he was severely limited on the guests he could invite'. (Real History and the German side of the British royal family)

According to Charles Higham’s book "Trading With The Enemy": In the early stages of World War II, the Duke of Windsor had a secret meeting in the Hotel Meurice in Paris with Rudolf Hess and Martin Bormann.

In ' Double Standards: The Rudolf Hess Cover-up' by Lynn Picknett, Clive Prince & Stephen Prior it is argued that:

1. Rudolf Hess flew to Scotland in 1941 with Hitler's blessing.

2. Hess was to meet with a faction of British royalty who wanted to arrange peace between Britain and Nazi Germany.

3. Churchill and his faction got to Hess first when his plane landed and locked him up, even though Hess had been guaranteed safe passage by King George VI.

4. It is possible that the Duke of Kent rescued Hess and tried to fly to Sweden to continue secret peace negotiations. Allegedly, the Duke of Kent wanted to see Churchill removed.

5. The Duke's plane crashed approximately two miles from where Hess was kept on the shores of Loch More. Hess may have died in the plane crash. The plane crash may not have been accidental.

Clive Prince wrote:

"Churchill was in a very, very insecure position politically in May 1941. In fact, three days before Hess arrived, there had been a vote of no-confidence in Churchill.

"He didn’t have the support of the aristocracy or the support of MI6 and the King. But the Hess affair basically gave Churchill the opportunity to blackmail his opponents who were involved with the Hess flight into supporting him...

"He also used the Hess flight to ensure that Hitler went ahead with his attack on Russia six weeks after Hess arrived....

"We’re certain that MI6 was totally involved in the Hess affair - they weren’t luring him over: they were inviting him over. This was because MI6 were supportive of the idea of ending the War with Germany.

"MI6 saw the real enemy as being Russia. Sir Stuart Menzies - the head of MI6 - advised Churchill to stay out of things and let the Nazis and the Russians get on with it."

It has been claimed that the British monarchy, and the City of London's leading Crown bankers, enthusiastically backed Hitler and the Nazis. (Royal Nazis and the Scottish connection / The Frost blog)

Monzer al Kassar reportedly worked with the CIA unit known as Corea. (Franklin, Dutroux, Mossad, McKee)

On 2 December 2010, it was reported that the family of Abdulbaset al Megrahi is preparing to sue Britain for false imprisonment. (Family of alleged Lockerbie bomber 'preparing to sue Britain for false imprisonment' )

Libya's Colonel Gaddafi, in a speech at the London School of Economics, via a live video-link, alleged that the case against al Megrahi had 'been fabricated and created by Thatcher and Reagan.'

Gaddafi suggested that CIA agents carried out the 1988 Lockerbie Bombing.

(Involved in the story is CIA asset Monzer al Kassar, who reportedly had links to Oliver North and Mohammed Atta. (Monzer al-Kassar - Wikipedia / Madcow Morning News.) The alleged maker of the Lockerbie bomb, Marwan Khreesat, was a Jordanian intelligence service (GID) agent with links to the CIA. (Pan Am Flight 103.)

Were these passengers on PanAm 103 killed by the CIA? The US ambassador to Lebanon, John McCarthy, and the South African Foreign Minister Pik Botha had their travel plans altered at the last minute in order to avoid PA103. Charles McKee and Matthew Gannon allegedly changed their plans at the last minute to fly on PA103. ("Cover-up - Lockerbie")

Was there an attempt to kill al Megrahi?

According to Gaddafi, al Megrahi's health "was not looked after in prison.

"He didn't have any periodic examination...

"After he passes away, his family will demand compensation because he was deliberately neglected in prison."

(Lockerbie bomber's family to sue for false imprisonment and neglect, says Gaddafi )

If all the evidence had been heard in the appeal case, then the world would have got to hear more about Major Charles McKee and heroin.

Reportedly, Major Charles McKee and his team of US agents had gathered evidence concerning CIA smuggling of heroin from South Lebanon into the USA on PanAm flights.

McKee and his team were on PanAm 103.

Reportedly, the CIA brought down PanAm 103 in order to destroy McKee and his evidence.

Libya's foreign minister Moussa Koussa was in Tunisia on a diplomatic mission.

On 31 March 2011, we read that he mysteriously arrived at the UK's Farnborough airport before being taken to London.

Did he defect or was he pressurised? (Libyan foreign minister Moussa Koussa defects to Britain‎)

Brian has provided some useful links:

1. Reason for Libyan war? Gaddafi wanted to nationalise oil.

"On February 16, 2009, Gaddafi ... called on Libyans to back his proposal to dismantle the government and to distribute the oil wealth directly to the 5 million inhabitants of the country.

"However, his plan to deliver oil revenues directly to the Libyan people met opposition by senior officials who could lose their jobs due to a parallel plan by Gaddafi to rid the state of corruption."

2. Toward African freedom in Libya and beyond.

"No one has shouted any louder than Gaddafi that Africa must be for the Africans...

"Why hasn’t the Western world rolled into Israel or the West Bank and saved the Palestinian people who suffer true slaughter and discrimination at the hands of Israel?"

Lanka e News Editor Benette Rupasinghe remanded until April 7th - Another Dog Work by Dictator Mahinda's Regime !

Arrested news editor of Lanka e News senior journalist Benett Rupasinghe has been remanded until April 07.

Mr. Rupasinghe was produced before Kaduwela magistrate Jayaki de Alwis this afternoon (Mar. 31).

He was arrested by Wellampitiya police earlier in the day on charges of making threatening calls and threatening at gunpoint the brother of a suspect in the arson attack on the website’s Malabe office.

The journalist is also accused of concealing the truth to a state official.

A team of lawyers appeared on behalf of him at the court, and one of them, attorney Maithri Gunaratne, accused police of making suspects out of the aggrieved party in the arson attack, at the instigation of an interested party.

The lawyer quoted March 27 issue of ‘Dinamina’, which said the mastermind behind the attack was to be arrested soon.

He asked the court that the 68-year-old suspect be given bail on any condition.

Making submissions, Wellampitiya Police Inspector OIC Ranjith Samaranayake and SI Chandradasa Meegahawatte rejected the accusations against police.

When the magistrate inquired about the pistol the suspect had reportedly used to issue his threats, police said they were yet to find the weapon.

The magistrate ordered the suspect be remanded, and be given medical treatment if necessary at the prison hospital.

The team of lawyers that appear for Mr. Rupasinghe also include Shiral Lakthilake, Gunaratne Wanninayake, Namal Rajapaksa, Manjula Pathiraja, Bandara Ekanayake and Nuwan Jayawardena.

Vaas and Randiv called up as injury cover for WC final !

Injury concerns over Muttiah Muralitharan and Angelo Mathews have forced the Sri Lankan team to call up Chaminda Vaas and Suraj Randiv as standbys ahead of the World Cup final against India on April 2. Vaas and Randiv will reach Mumbai on Thursday evening, and will be available for an emergency swap into the side if necessary, pending approval from the ICC.

Muralitharan has struggled with niggles through the course of the tournament, including a hamstring injury, a side strain, a troublesome knee and a groin issue. There was speculation that he would be rested for the semi-final against New Zealand in a bid to allow him time to be fully fit for the final. Muralitharan, however, played in the semi-final in Colombo, despite not being in the best physical condition. The final, if he plays in it, will be Muralitharan's last international game.

Trevor Bayliss, the team's coach, was confident about Muralitharan's availability for the game. "Chances are good that Murali will play," he said. "He completed ten overs in the semi-final, and such is the character of the man that he will play even with discomfort."

Mathews left the field during the semi-final with a minor injury to the thigh when Sri Lanka were fielding, and was visibly hampered for movement when he later came out to bat with a runner. Mathews has played a crucial role in Sri Lanka's campaign, both as a back-up seamer and in the middle order, and his versatility will be tough to substitute.

Left-arm seamer Vaas, 37, last played an last international game in July 2009, and hasn't featured in an ODI since August 2008. He was contemplating retirement following his omission from the original World Cup squad. Offspinner Randiv was a regular member of Sri Lanka's limited-overs' side last year, but missed out on a World Cup spot to Rangana Herath and Ajantha Mendis, who were picked ahead of him as the spinners to support Muralitharan.

But What we hope is that both Muttiah Muralitharan and Angelo Mathews will be fit to play as they are the most valuable players (other than Kumar, Mahela and Lasith Malinga) that no body could ever do what they contribute as a player to the team.

THE NEW EGYPT

(Bin Laden Deputy Ayman Zawahiri, the CIA & the Murder of Anwar Sadat)

Now the CIA-generals would appear to be in charge in Egypt. And the CIA generals would appear to be on the side of the Islamists.

On 29 March 2011, in The Guardian, we read of the release from prison in Egypt of Aboud al-Zomor who was implicated in the murder of Sadat. (Egypt is stan)

He has been given a hero's welcome on TV and in the newspapers.

"Every time I changed the TV channel, he was there spewing out some criminal nonsense, such as the legitimacy of murdering people if religious scholars permitted it."

On 29 March 2011, we read of Ultraconservative Muslim sect clashes with villagers in Egypt.

Members of the fundamentalist SALAFI movement have clashed with villagers south of Cairo over demands that an alcohol store and coffee shops be closed.

One villager was killed in the armed clashes.

The powerful Salafists want to ban alcohol and want shariah law.

In Egypt there are rumours that the Salafi movement plans a massive rally aimed at forcing all Egyptian women to wear a veil and punishing those who don't adhere by burning their faces with acid.

Salafi doctrine "is only a few shades away from that of groups such as al-Qaeda."

"The growth of Salafism is visible in dress.

Japan after earthquake and tsunami

Ever since an earthquake-tsunami-nuclear crisis unfolded on March 11, the standard uniform for Japanese cabinet ministers has been a bright blue jacket of the sort more often seen on janitors or production workers. Now, however, Yukio Edano, chief cabinet secretary and the government’s crisis point-man, says it may be about time to return to more normal attire.  “Those of us who work in the government have been saying that sooner or later we should be changing our jackets,” Mr Edano says in an interview on Thursday. “I’m thinking of changing into the regular sort of business suit.” This costume change would be of more than sartorial significance. Ministers’ adoption of blue-collar jackets is intended to show that they are in crisis mode and to express solidarity with the emergency workers and engineers fighting to relieve the suffering of tsunami victims and to contain the nuclear crisis. But a return to normal wear would symbolise a return to a more business-as-usual atmosphere in relatively unscathed parts of the country and could help reduce economic damage caused by anxiety suppressing consumer demand. Restaurateurs and taxi drivers in Tokyo, for example, say sales have plunged since the earthquake and tsunami. Observers blame worries about the nuclear crisis and possible aftershocks and a widespread embrace of jishuku, or “self-restraint”, adopted on the grounds that it is unseemly to party when people in the disaster zone are suffering. Such self-restraint has proved valuable in easing the strain on the depleted supply of electricity in the Tokyo area, with individuals and businesses switching off unnecessary lights, heaters and automatic doors to save power. But Mr Edano says too much jishuku can be damaging, praising a recent charity soccer match and the resumption of baseball games as steps back to normality. “Little by little, you see these little actions here and there, and I think that will stimulate the economy,” he says. “If the Japanese economy can be stimulated and lifted upward, that would in turn be able to translate into more capacity to support the disaster-stricken Tohoku area.” Mr Edano’s frequent press conferences, as chief government spokesman, have become the main source of information for the public about developments at Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. And the former lawyer’s command of technical detail and his matter-of-fact delivery have helped buttress an administration that was suffering perilously low opinion poll ratings before the earthquake. Public support appears to have risen since the disaster, although polls show voters are unimpressed by the government’s handling of the nuclear crisis. Mr Edano acknowledges that communication between the government, the widely criticised utility Tokyo Electric Power and the plant itself was “not satisfactory” in the aftermath of the tsunami that knocked out its back-up safety cooling systems. He insists that Naoto Kan, the prime minister, has since managed to improve the flow of information with a testy visit to Tepco – where the premier at one point demanded executives tell him “what the hell” was going on – and by insisting that a special assistant has full access to the utility’s headquarters. Public doubts about Tepco will only be confirmed, however, by Mr Edano’s suggestion that the government is still having to issue frequent requests to ensure that the utility shares all its information. A rebound in public confidence will require evidence of real progress dealing with the plant’s overheating and radiation-leaking reactors and spent fuel pools. That will take time – weeks at least for even basic stability and far, far longer for a final resolution. The chief cabinet secretary is the first to warn against complacency or over-optimism. The battle to cool Fukushima Daiichi’s reactors and spent fuel has been beset by frequent setbacks, with attempted remedies often creating new problems. So even if Mr Edano marks today’s start of Japan’s new fiscal year, as planned, with a switch into standard business dress, he says he will be keeping his emergency wear close at hand: “If needed, I would immediately change back into this jacket.”

Bashar unfazed by Latakia protests

President Bashar al-Assad defied calls on Wednesday to lift a decades-old emergency law Amateur video uploaded to a social website purported to show protests in the Syrian city of Latakia. President Bashar al-Assad defied calls on Wednesday to lift a decades-old emergency law and said that Syria was the target of a foreign conspiracy to stir up protests in which more than 60 people have been killed. Angry that their demands were not met, hundreds of protesters chanting “Freedom” marched in the port city of Latakia, where residents said that security forces had fired in the air. Speaking in public for the first time since the start of the unprecedented demonstrations, inspired by uprisings across the Arab world, Assad said he supported reform but offered no new commitment to change Syria’s rigid, one-party political system. “Implementing reforms is not a fad. When it is just a reflection of a wave that the region is living, it is destructive,” said Assad, making clear he would not concede to pressure from mass protests which toppled other Arab leaders. “Syria today is being subjected to a big conspiracy, whose threads extend from countries near and far,” Assad said, smiling and looking assured, without naming any countries. Ending emergency law, the main tool for suppressing dissent since it was imposed after the 1963 coup that elevated Assad’s Baath Party to power, has been a central demand of protesters. They also want political prisoners freed, and to know the fate of tens of thousands who disappeared in the 1980s. The protests have presented the gravest challenge to Assad’s 11-year rule in Syria, which has an anti-Israel alliance with Iran and supports Hezbollah and Hamas. Social networking sites Twitter and Facebook were flooded with messages of disappointment and anger at Assad’s speech, in which he failed to mention any specific reforms the international community had urged him to take.

Ivory Coast facing a bloody deposition

Ivory Coast strongman Laurent Gbagbo will be held accountable for whatever happens in Abidjan, the United States said Thursday, as forces loyal to his rival surged into the economic capital. "If there is major violence in Abidjan and Gbagbo does not step aside, he and those around him, including his wife Simone Gbagbo, will have to be held accountable for the actions they failed to take to stop it," Johnnie Carson, assistant secretary of state for African affairs, told reporters. "The international community will certainly hold him accountable, but he does have an opportunity, but this opportunity is slipping away." Alassane Ouattara has been recognized as the rightful leader of the Ivory Coast, but he has been unable to take power since being elected in November, leading to a bloody crisis that has left some 500 people dead. Abidjan residents, fearing a final showdown, locked themselves in their homes Thursday as Ouattara made a final plea to his rival's soldiers to change sides amid a reported rash of defections. "The US calls on parties to exercise restraint and make the protection of civilians their highest priority," Carson added. Pro-Ouattara fighters have in two days seized the political capital Yamoussoukro and the world's biggest cocoa exporting port of San Pedro, as the United Nations slapped fresh sanctions on Gbagbo and called for him to cede power, which he has held since 2000.

may come in for Nehra and sometimes Y Pathan for Raina.

So What is the difference between two ?

Not Much at all but in batting India is bit ahead of Sri Lanka considering that they have 4 inform batsmen  where as Sri Lanka has only 3 but in Bowling Sri Lanka is far ahead with wicket taking bowlers (even the part time 2 bowlers are wicket takers!) but Sri Lanka will have a problem If Anjelo doesnt play... because neither Thisarra nor Vaas / Randiv could do what he does with both bat and bowl for the team in very crucial moments... but the team that make few mistakes compared to the other will lift the World Cup 2011.

Libya Dictators regimes Foreign Minister quits and Flees to Britain !

Moussa Koussa, the Libyan foreign minister, has defected to the United Kingdom, the British foreign ministry has confirmed.

The ministry said in a statement that Koussa had arrived at Farnborough Airport, in the south of England, on a flight from Tunisia on Wednesday.

"He travelled here under his own free will. He has told us that he is resigning his post. We are discussing this with him and we will release further details in due course," the statement said.

"We encourage those around Gaddafi to abandon him and embrace a better future for Libya that allows political transition and real reform that meets the aspirations of the Libyan people."

It added that Koussa was one of the most senior officials in Gaddafi's Brutal Regime with a role to represent it internationally, which is "something that he is no longer willing to do".

Tunisia's TAP news agency said on Monday that Koussa had crossed over into Tunisia from Libya.

A Libyan Regime spokesman in the Libyan capital Tripoli had earlier denied speculation that he had defected.

"He is on a diplomatic mission," Mussa Ibrahim, the spokesman, said. He gave no further details.

Earlier on Wednesday, the British government announced the expulsion of Libya's military attache and four other diplomats in protest and for intimidating opposition groups in London.

A government source quoted by Reuters said the diplomats, believed to be supporters of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, have been given seven days to leave.

William Hague, the British foreign minister, told legislators the move was to "underline our grave concern at the regime's behaviour".

"... we have today taken steps to expel five diplomats at the Libyan embassy in London, including the military attache," he said in parliament on Wednesday.

"The government also judged that, were those individuals to remain in Britain, they could pose a threat to our security."

Hague also announced that a British diplomatic mission led by senior diplomat Christopher Prentice had visited the freedom fighter-held city of Benghazi earlier this week, and met key opposition groups including Mustafa Abdel Jalil, the head of the pro democracy Libyan National Council.

Daniel Vettori retires from Twenty20s !

Kivi Captain Daniel Vettori has announced his retirement from Twenty20 internationals. He had earlier decided to step down as New Zealand captain following the World Cup, and his one-day plans remain unclear, though he is committed to playing Tests.

Vettori has captained the side in 32 Tests, 82 ODIs and 28 Twenty20 internationals. Taylor has stepped in as captain in Vettori's absence in recent times, but New Zealand Cricket are yet to announce a full-time successor.

India will play Sri lanka in World Cup Final !

India were looking for 320+ initially but they had to satisfy with 260 as they started to loose wickets one after another in quick succession.

Sehwag manage to get 21 from Pakistans most reliable pace bowler Gul who was too expensive in this match (for the first time in the tournement). Sehwag's thundering 38 (of 32) batting was ended by Wahab Riaz by getting him trapped in front of the wicket. Then the run rate started to come down sharply as non of the other batmens were able to score at least run a bowl.

Yuvaraj went for duck in the first bowl he face of Wahab Riaz soon after Kohli got out. India were struggling at one stage to get atleast 250 but Raina and their lower order bowlers managed to lift the score to 260/9.

Wahab Riaz took 5 wickets while Ajmal 2 wickets with one for Hafeez. Sachin Tendulkar manage to get 85 having being dropped by pakistan fielders in several occassions though.

It was a gettable total for Pakistan on a wicket which was flat. They went with a good run rate initially with 70 for 1 but Nehra and his bowling colleagues built the pressure and made it difficult to score freely for pakistan players which brought the downfall of their run chase.

Misbah Up Haq (56) played a one man show to rescue his team, though he played almost till the end, but his scoring rate wa slow... Ultimately Pakistan were bowled out for 231 with 29 run victory for India making them to the Final on Saturday at Mumbai with Sri lankan Lions !
