Di Rupo, a prominent leader of the Belgian Socialist Party, "did not deny that his sex life consists of a series of one-night stands with young men, often prostitutes that he or his chauffeur pick up from the streets."

Di Rupo got away with it when "his Socialist Party threatened to bring down the government if Di Rupo was forced to resign."

Willy Claes was foreign minister of Belgium from 1992 until 1994, and secretary general of NATO from 1994 until 1995, when he resigned after the discovery of a bribe of over 50 million Belgian francs that was accepted during contract negotiations with Agusta helicopters during the time he was minister of economic affairs. For that he was convicted in 1998.

Regina Louf gave a description of the castle and investigators were able to find Castle Kattenhof, owned by the de Caters family (110).

Baron Patrick de Caters is a member of Cercle de Wallonië, together with Etienne Davignon (the head of the Bilderberg organisation), Prince Philippe de Chimay, Count Jean-Pierre de Launoit (vice-Président Cercle de Lorraine), Elio Di Rupo and Aldo Vastapane.
