SCHOOLS

1.CanSpeccy said about SCHOOLS:

"Lack of motivation must be a factor.

"When youth unemployment among black Americans is 50%, WTF use is a high school diploma...

"Best to start selling drugs right away and forget school altogether.

"The same sort of destructive thought processes must afflict many children in almost any Western society where work has been offshored and outsourced, to beef up corporate profits, which have rarely been higher.

"In the meantime, workforce skills are wasting away.

"What is the reward for the hard work necessary to obtain a good education? LOL

"They have plenty of good brains in India and China, so who's gonna rush to employ a math wiz. or programming geek who expects to earn a decent salary and who, in any case, is not permitted by law to work for less than than a minimum wage that a fresh graduate in India would die for."

Japan is no better

"Students’ academic ability is in free-fall, writes Okabe.

"Simple logical thinking is beyond them.

"Their vocabulary is childish, their grasp of mathematics feeble, their curiosity nowhere in evidence.

"The latter is doubly surprising, he points out, in view of the young generation’s easy familiarity with the Internet — but the Net apparently appeals to them more as a playground than as a research venue.

DISCIPLINE IN SCHOOLS

Website for this image

In the UK, on 7 April 2011, teachers at Darwen Vale High School, near Blackburn Lancashire, are to stage a walk-out.

The teachers are protesting at the lack of support they have received from the head teacher.

"They say pupils frequently challenge teachers to fights, push and shove them in the corridors and classrooms and are constantly swearing and insulting them." (Strike-hit school governor blames pupil anarchy... on wind and rain‎)

The teachers say that when they take the matters to the head teacher she often sides with the pupils instead of staff.

Americans are worried that their education system is no longer producing enough inventors like Thomas Edison. Thomas Edison invented the light bulb. "Nearly all his childhood learning took place at home."

So, how should schools be organised?

1. Give pupils a choice of schools.

This means there must be lots of small schools of different types.

All schools should be tiny.

The big schools should be broken up.

2. Give headmasters and teachers the right to exclude pupils who are disruptive.

3. Set up special schools that give intensive care (very expensive) to the disruptive children.

4. Set up top quality schools that cater for the less academic kids.

There are parents and children who want such schools - so long as they are well run, and do not become dumping grounds for the disruptive children.

5. Lower the school leaving age and shorten the school day.

This will mean children will learn more.

That is the paradox.

6. Sack the bureaucrats.

According to an article about UK schools in Scotland on Sunday, 9 September 2007, (Alexander attacks 'bloated' education authorities) one in every four pounds of education funding never makes it to schools.

Studies show that of the average £5,160 spent on a child's education annually, £1,700 is swallowed up by local government.

It is time to close down the "bloated" education authorities. Get rid of the government bureaucrats, both local and national. Sack the education chiefs. It is these folks who have helped to ruin British schools.

BRAINWASHED KIDS

The kids at the bottom end of society are pretty useless at resisting the brainwashing by the rich elite and the rich elite's corrupt friends in the media.

If the media churns out gangster films and music, little Wayne and little Stacey will soon be dressing and behaving like gangsters.

If the government promotes the idea that the poor are useless citizens, and have to accept third world conditions, little Wayne and little Stacey will likely accept this.

Little Wayne and little Stacey will attend schools where the teachers are not allowed to keep discipline; they will live on streets where the police appear to turn a blind eye to drugs and excessive consumption of alcohol.

The kids with good families, living is good neighbourhoods, are better able to resist the brainwashing.

The Diary of a despairing teacher tells us more about people like Wayne and Stacey.

Extracts from the blog To Miss With Love, by Katharine Birbalsingh:

The gambling den

So I ... find a bunch of boys half way down the stairs, sitting on chairs, gambling with paper money and cards. We are in the middle of lesson time...

I have no clout in this school. So I know I cannot inspire fear...

The boys look up at me, almost growling. As we approach, one of them puts his foot up on the chair, on top of the money, and blocks our way. I step over his leg. "Thank you boys!" I smile...

As we continue now on the other side, moving down the stairs, I call back up, grinning.

"Boys ... I'm sure you're not meant to be doing that right now! Better watch someone doesn't catch you!"

A stabbing in the playground

I watch Gangster, an older pupil, go into the head's office with his mum for a meeting, because on the last day of school in July he stabbed another boy in the playground with a knife.

Why?

The other boy pushed him.

But the madness does not stop there. Last academic year, three boys were "excluded" for stabbing a boy from another school. At the time, certain paperwork was not filled out. Oh well. So what? What does it matter if there's a missing piece of paper?

Oh well indeed. The consequence is that the powers that be can now force us to take these three back. Three gruesome, terrifying, influential boys who terrorise everyone around them are coming back to our school and there is nothing we can do about it.

Teenage mothers

Another teacher shows me a list of students as long as my arm and begins to talk about each kid.

One got stabbed in June, this one was stabbed in April, another one stabbed another one in May.

This girl had her head pushed through the glass window of a nearby house by another two girls who dragged her out of the playground. Once her head was through the window of what so happened to be the kitchen, she grabbed a knife on the counter, turned around and stabbed the two other girls.

The teacher sighs, continuing. This one is pregnant, this other one had a baby last month, this is the boy who fathered that particular baby, this other boy is freaked about being a father, this one's mother is a drug addict so no one is looking after the baby, this one is OK because her mother is able to look after the baby ... And on it goes.

When the teacher leaves, I look out the window and catch sight of the year 7s.

How is it possible that those children who just about believe in the Tooth Fairy in three years' time will be packing knives and getting girls pregnant? What kind of a world have we created for these children?

Getting through to the hoodies

After school I go chasing after a boy who has walked out of his detention in an effort to persuade him to come back. He doesn't...

The disaffected girl

Miserable is in detention and is angry...

I start to explain that she is a sophisticated young lady, that even when angry, she should try to hold onto a sense of grace and posture. She rolls her eyes and acts as if she isn't listening to me...

Miserable draws her eyes together. "YEAH? Well you don't know nuffin' about me! You don't know what I've been through! You don't know what my life's like!"

I wince. "True. I don't know anything about you. But however hard your life has been, I don't see why that would force you to be negative."

Miserable makes a face at me, kissing her teeth. "Yeah, well I like being negative. That's what I'm like. I like it. I'm NEGATIVE. I have a right to be negative. I've had a hard life."

"The weakening of the family unit has been a big part of the plans to weaken our society as a whole.

"As the family is broken down, it allows the government to slip in and fill roles that traditionally had been filled by family or close neighbors.

"Now we don't even know our neighbors, the family unit has broken down, and instead of banding together for or against something as people once did not so long ago, we are allowing this creeping quasi-fascist globalist outlook to change our laws and our communities, because our basic cohesive unit, the family, has been made ineffective and somehow old fashioned." OUR SICK CULTURE

Rand Paul may be the exception.

I knew a little British boy called James who had had five mothers.

He was a bit confused and doing rather badly at school.

His father was a rich and influential man.

Is there something wrong with the culture of the USA and much of Europe?

In the USA, 17 year-old Andrew Conley, who is white, killed his 10 year-old brother.

Conley said he wanted to model himself on the TV serial killer Dexter.

Mark Twitchell copied a story from Dexter when he allegedly killed Johnny Altinger. (dailymail.J)

Many kids in the USA and Europe appear to be becoming more dumb and more disturbed, more rebellious and more violent?

British soldiers doing a spot of looting in Lucknow.

newgatenews.blogspot/ writes:

"If Jack swears at his teacher and throws his books around the classroom, is he a spoilt, rude child ... or does he suffer from a behavioural disorder?

"...And when his mother arrives on the scene, guns blazing, demanding to know why he was given a detention, do his teachers explain what she is doing wrong or sympathise that she has to cope with his condition?

"...His class teachers ... are warned not to damage his frail self-esteem with criticism of any kind and are thus rendered virtually impotent in the face of deliberate provocation. And there's a lot of it about; nearly a quarter of special needs pupils have emotional, behavioural or social difficulties." (Ofsted report - odd, innit?)

The kid who is disrupting lessons in the classroom sometimes turns out to have a father who is a school governor, a freemason and a close friend of the local mafias.

The kid's headmaster is probably a freemason.

In the USA and Europe, our leaders do not always provide good role models.

When people were asked in a 2006 AP-AOL News poll to name the hero of the year, George Bush came top. (celebrity role models. )

War criminals, who are seen to prosper, provide poor role models.

The bad guys are unlikely to promote good manners in schools.

Paladino

What are we to make of Carl Paladino, Republican candidate for governor of New York.

He is famous for 'sending racist and pornographic e-mails.' (Tea Party candidates: the GOP's worst nightmare )

Sharron Angle is Republican candidate for one of Nevada's senate seats.

She allegedly has links to Scientology.

Christine O'Donnell is to be the Republican candidate in Delaware.

She is 'opposed to masturbation.'

And, the media do not always provide good role models.

In The Jewish Quarterly, Winter 2004, Nathan Abrams wrote (The Jewish Quarterly):

"Secular Jews ... play... a disproportionate role throughout the adult film industry in America. Jewish involvement in pornography has a long history in the United States...

"There is surely an element of rebellion in Jewish X-rated involvement...

"Jewish involvement in the X-rated industry can be seen as a proverbial two fingers to the entire WASP establishment in America. Some porn stars viewed themselves as frontline fighters in the spiritual battle between Christian America and secular humanism...

"They are trying to weaken the dominant culture in America by moral subversion."

Luke Ford explained on his website (lukeford.net): ‘Porn is just one expression of [the] rebellion against standards, against the disciplined life of obedience..."

It should be noted that a lot of Roman Catholic girls have gone into the porn industry.

Some Catholic kids can be big trouble.

A healthy culture is one where people act with moderation and kindness.

The media is mainly Jewish.

Larry King is Larry Zeiger; Judy Garland was Frances Gumm; Kirk Douglas is Issur Danilovich Demsky...

Michael Medved, in The American Moment Magazine, "The Jewish Magazine for the '90s", wrote (Who Rules Hollywood.):

"It makes no sense at all to try to deny the reality of Jewish power and prominence in popular culture.

"Any list of the most influential production executives at each of the major movie studios will produce a heavy majority of recognizably Jewish names."

When much popular culture is rubbish, then many schools become rubbish.

The elite have often come in for criticism.

On 15th September 2010, we learn that, in the UK, ethnic pupils have overtaken white Britons for the first time at 16.

By age 16, Bangladeshi, Pakistani and black pupils from outside the Caribbean had caught up with their white British classmates, while Indian and Chinese pupils had overtaken them.

Only black Caribbean pupils remained slightly behind white British youngsters.

White kids and black Caribbean kids often have 'troubled' family lives.

Indian and Chinese kids are more likely to have stable families who teach good manners.

Sick culture?

When the culture of a country has become sick there are two things one can do:

1. Kick out the bad guys.

2. OR, spend a lot of money trying to treat the damaged kids.

The bad guys, unfortunately, have become clever at conning people and winning power.

(Rand Paul may be the exception. Paul is the Republican candidate for the Senate seat in Kentucky. He wants to see the abolition of the Federal Reserve. He opposes the US Patriot Act. He says he would have voted against the invasion of Iraq. He also favours the legalisation of marijuana.

(BUT, Hei Hu Quan points out that Rand Paul, unlike his father, is pro-Israel! Rand Paul and Israel)

Role Models are important

So, at least in the short term, we may have to spend a lot of money on the 'special needs' gravy train.

One in three staff at one particular UK school don't teach but deal with pupils' emotional and learning problems.

Between 30 and 40 'mentors' work alongside the 100 or so teachers.

According to the head teacher, almost nine in ten of her 1,500 pupils have an 'additional educational need' of some kind.
