David Headley confessed to planning the Mumbai terror attacks of 2008.

And it was revealed in the US media that Headley was an agent of the American DEA which works very closely with the CIA.

Reportedly, Headley had the assistance of the Mumbai police in planning the terror attacks on Mumbai.

Of course, the Mumbai Police would like to keep quiet about the role of American agent David Headley in the Mumbai carnage.

In a court in India, the Mumbai Police are appealing against the acquittal of Fahim Ansari and Sabahuddin in the 2008 Mumbai attacks.

Perhaps not surprisingly, the police, in presenting their evidence, are silent on the role of their American agent 'friend' David Headley.

Ansari and Sabauddin were accused of preparing maps for the Mumbai attack.

The two were found not guilty by Judge M L Tahaliyani, who said that better maps were available on the Internet.

One of the maps was allegedly found in the pocket of deceased 'terrorist' Abu Ismail and the hand writing on it is 'proved' to be that of Ansari, according to the Mumbai police.

The CIA and the Mumbai police did not do a very good job on this?

The hand-written map, recovered from the killed 'terrorist', "was fresh and had no wrinkles on it."

Reportedly, a female FBI officer sexually harassed Faheem Ansari. (messages)

Reportedly, this female FBI officer also interrogated Faheem Ansari. (The Hindu -Ansari accused a female FBI agent.)

Ansari alleged that the female FBI agent removed all his clothes and showed him pornographic films.

All this happened in Mumbai, in India.

"According to Indian law, no foreign agency can be allowed to interrogate an Indian suspect." (The Hindu.)

Shahid Azmi, who is Faheem Ansari's lawyer. Azmi has now been murdered.

On 12 February 2010, http://twelfthbough.blogspot.com/ reports on the assassination of Shahid Azmi (messages), the lawyer representing Fahim Ansari, one of the three accused in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.

"Advocate Shahid Azmi, who was defence lawyer for about 50 Muslim youths languishing in jails in terror cases, was shot dead ... by unknown people in his chamber near Taximen's Colony in Kurla East, Mumbai." (Azmi - People describe him as honest and courageous.)

Faheem Ansari and Ajmal Kasab claim that they have been framed.

Ansari has made claims similar to Kasab's - essentially, that he had been framed by corrupt police officers.

The police claim Ansari drew a map of target locations for the Mumbai attackers.

But Ansari says he was forced by the police to draw this map only after he was arrested.
